Composition of the briquettes
Charcoal briquettes are made up of small wood charcoal with, a natural binder and water.
The components of this product meet ecological constraints because they are natural elements of biomass.
Wood charcoal is the result of high-temperature baking of natural untreated wood. The generated smoke called “carbonised gases” are totally destroyed by incineration.
The entire production process is totally neutral for the environment. All the stages occur within a closed circuit and all the by-products are recycled.
Wheat flour is the food starch used as a natural binder, totally safe for the consumer.
Water : an essential and neutral element.
Charcoal briquettes are the result of the agglomeration of these three natural elements.
High-end briquettes
Charcoal briquettes have a very long burn time and good incandescence. This product is more commonly used in Anglo-Saxon and Nordic countries than in Mediterranean countries.
CARBO-BRIQ was founded in September 2008 and is in Braize, in Allier. It specialises in the manufacture of charcoal briquettes.
